Position/Rank

The Department of Information Systems invites applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor position starting in Fall 2024. The position is for faculty with strong teaching potential and a research record or industry experience in Management Information Systems with a strong preference for Data Analytics. The teaching load will include a mix of undergraduate and graduate courses and will require course development in a new graduate program. This will include face to face, online, and hybrid courses in a traditional and accelerated format.

All faculty members advise students, remain current on topics and practices related to the discipline, contribute to the campus community in various ways including committee assignments and assisting the Admissions Office in recruiting for the program, and engage in scholarly work.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in data science, information systems, computer sciences, or a related discipline from a regionally accredited institution. A.B.D. candidates with an expected completion date of December 2024 or earlier are also encouraged to apply.

Professional experience is preferred. Applicants should have up-to-date skills in and familiarity with technology and learning-management systems. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
