Overview

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Business Instructor to teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per semester. Teaching duties include the creation and delivery of course content, using Blackboard for communication and feedback, course design, and student outcome assessment. The faculty assignment period is full-time for 10 months (August-May), promotion track.

Job Duties:

Emphasis on student success and retention through regular office hours, student advising, internal service/committee work, community service, and professional development. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, working with a diverse population, and the community and technical college mission.

  • Ability to teach a diverse body of students in a professional, enthusiastic, and organized manner
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
  • Strong communications/relationship-building skills
  • Experience with teaching, online education, Blackboard, and other instructional education, preferred.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The position requires a Masters level degree in business (MBA) or higher.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Management, but candidates with expertise in other areas will be considered.
