Overview

Creighton University’s Heider College of Business seeks applications for a non-tenure track full-time position to teach business ethics beginning in August 2024.  Qualified candidates will preferably have a PhD in Philosophy with demonstrated competence in business ethics.  Experience teaching at the university level is required.  Candidates should have a strong competence in ethical theory and willingness to support and contribute to the Jesuit Mission of the University (see: https://www.creighton.edu/about/why-creighton/what-jesuit-educati on).

The teaching load is eight courses per 9-month academic year, primarily teaching the undergraduate business ethics course (which is a follow up course to the pre-required philosophical ethics course). The College seeks a balanced teacher-servant with a commitment to excellent teaching and a desire to assist with committee service, advising, and student organization activity leadership in the business school.

Business Ethics faculty are part of the Department of Marketing and Management in the Heider College of Business.  The Heider College of Business is accredited by the AACSB with an enrollment of approximately 1100 undergraduate and 400 graduate students. Approximately 70 full-time faculty members, complemented by part-time instructors, serve our students.
