Overview

The School of Business and Public Management seeks a dynamic candidate for a faculty position in management and leadership. This is an academic year 10-month contract. The contract is expected to begin August 1, 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Course development and teach courses in management, leadership, and business.
  • Teach 4 courses per semester.
  • Serve as a mentor and instructor with the Lucas Center for Entrepreneurship.
  • Maintain on campus office hours, preparing lesson plans, syllabi, including course objectives, lectures, and other course materials such as quizzes and exams, and submission of final grades and attendance reports.
  • Some teaching online may also be required to serve our Coastal Online programs
  • Conduct academic advisement and career counseling
  • A commitment to high impact practices including best practices in student engagement and student success.
  • Teaching classes at the Brunswick Campus or the Camden Center location may be required according to demand.

Educational Requirements

  • Masters degree in a course of study related to the field

Required Experience

  • More than 10 years of experience in management and leadership

Preferred Experience

  • Online teaching
  • Rich experience in management and leadership
  • Experience with executive education or coaching
