Overview

The Auburn University at Montgomery, College of Business, Department of Business Administration invites applications from qualified candidates for the position as Assistant/Associate Professor of Management. The position is a 9-month, tenure-track position with a usual course load of six courses per academic year.

We seek a candidate interested in strengthening the College’s Management major. The major is housed within the department along with Finance, Healthcare Administration, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.

The appointment is to begin Fall of 2024. Required qualifications include Ph.D. or equivalent in Management or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education, qualifying the candidate as a Scholarly Academic by AACSB standards by time of appointment. A record of scholarly activity; a record of effective teaching using a variety of methods; and teaching experience at the college level in the field of Management. While specialization is open, ideal candidates will have knowledge of different fields within the department. About the University/College

AUM is the part of Auburn University with approximately 5,200 students and 200 faculty in five academic colleges: Business, Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Nursing and Health Sciences, Sciences, and Education. The Department of Business Administration includes nineteen full-time faculty with BSBA majors in Finance, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, Management, and Marketing and while providing the majority of courses within the MBA and MHA programs. (All degrees are AACSB accredited.)
