Job Summary

Clayton State University, a campus of the University System of Georgia, located in a park-like setting surrounded by lakes in south suburban Atlanta. College of Business is accredited by AACSB and has 30 full-time faculty. The College currently offers BBA degree with majors in Accounting, Management, Supply Chain Management, and Marketing and a MBA program with concentrations in Accounting, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources Leadership, and General Business. We seek an individual who will be at home in a collegial environment, and who is eager to help lead the school in its plans for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate is expected to teach primarily Supply Chain courses at the undergraduate level. In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for directing the Center of Supply Chain Management and maintaining the Supply Chain Fellows Program.  Active participation in industry associations and community outreach is expected.  The successful applicant will work with other faculty to develop the link between community and industry and the classroom and students.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have earned MBA or specialized Masters degree in Supply Chain, or in a related field with significant industry experience.  Evidence (or potential) for excellent teaching is required.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an earned MBA or Master in Supply Chain, with significant industry experience, and a strong interest in teaching and applied research. The successful candidate is expected to teach Supply Chain courses at the undergraduate level.
